I’ve always been passionate about art: painting and drawing since I was young. I have regretted my choice not to pursue an artistic career before now, despite the strong encouragement. Rather, my art has remained a very personal form of expression.

In bringing colour to life I use various mediums, favouring a kaleidoscope of acrylic on canvas. My works are inspired by the sophisticated compositions of my mother, Cherry Phillips, a renowned Australian stained glass artist. After my mother’s passing in 2009 I created Art by CherryBlossom with the dream to continue her legacy.

One of my mother’s favourite quotes was from Eleanor Roosevelt: “You must do the thing that you think you cannot do”. Art by CherryBlossom stems from my hope to do just that.
